Our Vision
We at GroupDraw believe everyone should have more time to do what they actually love instead of reading and searching hundreds of irrelevant emails and messages. To provide a true improvement over the status quo, we invest a lot of time to understanding the precise workflow of our customers and designing a solution specifically tailored for our customers’ needs. We are willing to sacrifice a lot of features in order to make the important things easy, efficient and fun. This is how we design and redesign GroupDraw every day and we will not stop improving to provide you with the best possible experience at all times.
Our Story
It all started with a passionate Naval Architect … Andri Largiader. He loves ships and everything around them. So he was pretty happy to work as a Naval Architect, giving him the possibility to design and optimize those incredible water crafts. However, there was a downside. The discussions on the technical drawings took weeks and months because people had to send around paper copies and emails. There was a lot of printing and even more waiting involved. It was quite obvious that today’s technical improvements would allow much better ways to handle this, but old habits die hard. Over time he grew more and more annoyed about these old-fashioned communication standards until he finally decided to take action and change the way of communication on technical drawings for good. He started GroupDraw in his free time and after several iterations he found the key to the problem. Successful communication does not depend on all the fancy features, it requires a tool as easy as email but with the capability to communicate in one place at the same time. And from that point on GroupDraw grew to the company it is today.
